Congrats Kenny! This was a big week. Kenny successfully completed his treatment at the Rehabilitation Center in Encinitas. He left being able to walk and use his left side independently. What an amazing accomplishment in just 2 weeks. Kenny’s attitude and spirit continued to make people smile and laugh all around him, including his two roommates, and all his therapists.
After exiting rehab, Kenny moved to Newport to begin his next phase of treatment and to be closer to his family. He will officially begin radiation and chemo on Monday at Hoag Hospital in which he will have every day for 6 weeks (with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays). The doctors have let us know that Kenny will be very tired over these next 2 months. We anticipate lots of rest and relaxation as we enter this next chapter. The support from Kenny’s friends has been the best medicine by far. The love, prayers, and support truly keeps us all fighting. Please continue the support through this site, mail/email, phone calls, texts, and Facebook. Because this treatment can be very exhausting on Kenny, he and his family will be limiting visitors, as we want Kenny well and rested to fight this beast.
We have also received numerous donations through the website and we can’t express in words how grateful we are. It is so amazing to witness how many people are connected to Kenny in some way or another and in turn are rooting for him! He is our hero, a fighter, and a true superman that will beat this thing to its core.
Thanks again for everything YOU have all done to support Kenny in this battle.

You truly are super, Kenny. Kicking bootay, taking names, and all the while - making people laugh in only the way that you can!! Rooting so hard and thinking of you and your family every day.

Hi Kenny,
We are so stoked that you are making the progress with your rehab. We have been keeping tabs with Michelle on your progress since the day after your surgery. We were sick when we first heard the news, and have been praying for you since. Somehow, Capri Blu has managed to stay in business :) but it is not the same without you there. Lisa has been training James on the Ultimate Cosmo, but it is still missing your special touch...
We will be at the event on Saturday night, along with half of 4S Ranch! I'm not sure if you will be there, but if not, I'm sure you will be there is spirit. If I don't see you, I will toast you with a couple of Coors Lights (OK, maybe more than a couple).
Hope to see you soon. Keep up the good fight!

Kennnnyyyyyy!!!! We miss you! You are progressing amazingly well...a good sign for things to come! You are young, healthy, upbeat, and positive....exactly what you need to be to beat this!! We are praying heartily for your speedy recovery....CB just isn't the same without you....nobody else remembers to bring Mike his FOURTH cosmo!! And they just don't have your special touch as Lisa and Chris have already pointed out! Be well our friend...Mike & Corinne (Mike will have some cosmos tonight in your honor...I am sure they will have the SuperKennyCosmo drink on special!)
