On Saturday February 15th, some of Kenny’s friends from high school along with his sister and current friends helped organized a beach bonfire to celebrate Kenny’s 35th birthday. For those of you that know Kenny well, you are probably aware of how much he LOVES campfires. We have memories of us growing up camping and Kenny would sit by a fire all night if he could. So it was just the perfect way to celebrate. Between family, old and new friends, we had a wonderful evening and Kenny had a smile on his face the whole time. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special.
At the moment, Kenny is resting comfortably in his bed. In the last few days, it appeared his vision in his left eye was diminishing and as of yesterday he was complaining of his left side hurting. He is very unsteady on his feet and needs constant assistance. He is also experiencing many periods of confusion and disorientation. He is fighting so hard to maintain some of his independence but he understands that he needs help to stay safe. With the help of Hospice, family and friends, we are doing our best to make sure he is comfortable. We love you Kenny.
Thanks for your continued support and prayers.
